I am a Doctoral Researcher at the Sheffield Hallam Institute of Law and Social Sciences. My research investigates the psychological mechanisms underpinning youth anti-knife crime interventions. My work challenges one-size-fits-all approaches, examining how specific intervention components, such as weapon imagery and immersive technology, impact young people differently based on their past experiences and individual differences.
Building on my prior career as a Product Director in the private sector, I specialise in bridging the gap between academic theory and public sector policy. My goal is to ensure that interventions are psychologically informed, trauma-aware, evidence-based and ultimately effective for the diverse youth populations they serve.
