I am an Adult Nurse and a Specialst Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN-Health Visitor), 

I have always worked in community settings from qualifying in 2010, as an adult nurse in a community hospital, to moving the childrens services as a public health nurse in 2017, completing the SCPHN degree in 2020 as a Health Visitor.

In 2022 I came to SHU as a simulation secondee, providing simulated placement to pre registration nursing students, In 2024/25 i supported the SCPHN programme as a lecturer, I joined the Adult Nurse lecturer team in May 2026 and will be taking over the Return to Nursing Course as course leader.

I am currently in the process of completing the MSc in Health and Social Care Education.
