Paul is a senior lecturer in the Division of Business, Management and People, and course leader for the Global MBA, and Real Estate Degree Apprenticeship.

With a strong belief in the need to keep educational delivery current, Paul is also involved in applied research and consultancy projects that will inform and aid development of the curriculum. Projects include the Introduction of Lean Management within Facilities Management, and case studies with private and public sector organisations. Current research includes the application of systems thinking and change involved in the delivery of the sustainability agenda.

Prior to joining SHU, Paul was a manager within the sports, recruitment and transport industries. Having completed a doctorate exploring sustaining change, he holds a first degree in sport and an MBA and is qualified as a teacher within higher education.
