ABOUt

I have been working at Sheffield Hallam University since 2010. My main interests lie in teaching English for Academic Purposes to international students.

I began teaching English as a foreign language in Poland in 1992, and have since taught in a variety of institutions in Poland, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Qatar and the People's Republic of China. During this time I also worked as a University of Cambridge English language examiner.

Since 2002 I have taught English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in the UK and Turkey.

I returned to Sheffield in 2007 and worked as an associate lecturer of EAP at Sheffield Hallam. I was also a tutor for English language and linguistics on The Institute of Lifelong Learning (TILL) foundation programme at the University of Sheffield.

In 2010 I became a full-time lecturer at Sheffield Hallam – a post that was made permanent in 2011.
