I am Professor of Transnational Popular Culture and the university’s REF co-ordinator for UoA34 (Communication, Cultural and Media Studies).
Firmly aligning with gender studies’ inherent motivation to turn knowledge into activism, I have published widely in the fields of gender, law and culture, critically framing popular culture as a catalyst for socio-political debates.
