RESEARCH, INNOVATION & KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE

My research focuses on improving patient outcomes across radiotherapy, oncology, and palliative care. I am particularly interested in breast cancer care, personalised supportive care, and palliative care delivery. My work also explores improving diagnosis, access to treatment, and service delivery for diverse patient populations, and advancing role development within the health service.

I engage in knowledge exchange through professional networks, seminars, and collaborations, translating research into practice to enhance patient care and inform healthcare professional development. My doctoral research investigated barriers and facilitators to accessing health services for breast cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing evidence to support improvements in patient experience and service accessibility.

Current interests include:

  • Breast cancer and patient experience
  • Personalised supportive care for people living with cancer
  • Palliative and end-of-life care
  • Long-term and late effects of cancer treatment
  • Professional education and development in cancer care
