EXTERNAL & PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT

I am actively engaged in professional and academic activities that support the development of radiotherapy and oncology education and practice. I act as a reviewer for the Journal of Radiotherapy in Practice, contributing to the peer review and development of research in radiotherapy and oncology.

I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), recognising my sustained contribution to teaching and learning in higher education.

I am a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Therapeutic Radiographer and a member of the Society and College of Radiographers (SoR). Through these professional affiliations, I remain connected to developments in clinical practice and professional standards within radiotherapy and oncology.

My doctoral research, titled “Barriers and facilitators to engaging with health services for patients with breast cancer symptoms or a breast cancer diagnosis during the COVID-19 pandemic”, explored patient experiences and access to care during periods of healthcare disruption.
