As a Senior Lecturer, I teach on a range of modules on the BSc (Hons) Events Management and BA (Hons) Esports courses. This includes specialist event modules such as Weddings and Luxury Events, Creating and Marketing Experiences, and Live Events, as well as Sheffield Business School wide modules, including Study Skills and Foundation Year Business modules.

I have worked in the events industry for over fifteen years in a variety of sectors, from weddings and conferences to music festivals and charity events, including working on Sheffield music festival Tramlines for nine years. In my most recent role for Tramlines, I was Volunteer Manager for over 300 volunteers.

I am currently one of the Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Leads for Sheffield Business School. I am incredibly passionate about equal opportunities, and this is my area of research interest, specifically focusing on diversity and inclusion in the events industry. I am also Social Media Lead for Sheffield Business School, working with our talented social media students to plan, develop and post content across our various Business School channels.
