My current goals are to develop head and brain injury test methods, with a focus on modelling the prevention mTBI (mild traumatic brain injury).  The principles to prevent injury via protective metamaterials are already proving remarkably effective in reducing head impacts, and with further research and support, prototypes can be manufactured at partner organisations soon.  You can see some recent results at conferences in the UK, France, and USA in 2026.
