I am a Senior Lecturer in Engineering & Mathematics with research expertise in inclusive design, ergonomics, and Mechanical design systems. My work focuses on developing methodologies and decision‑support tools that help designers address the needs of diverse user populations, including my PhD research on constraint modelling and the SHIELDS inclusive design tool.

I have contributed to a range of funded research and industry‑linked projects spanning integrated home environments, environmentally friendly air traffic management, systems integration, and synthetic environment tools. Alongside my research, I am committed to high‑quality teaching, student supervision, and mentoring early‑career colleagues. I am currently working as the Course Leader for MSc Advanced Mechanical Engineering.
