I am a Research Fellow in the Physical Activity, Wellbeing and Public Health (PAWPH) research group, School of Sport and Physical Activity (SSPA). My PhD was based in behaviour change and psychological theory, and was awarded in 2016. I also have an Undergraduate and two Masters degrees in (1) Sport and Exercise Psychology & (2) Psychology. 

I joined Sheffield Hallam University in 2026, working on the Move More project - A whole systems approach to physcial activity, where I lead on the education strand of the programme. I have a deep interest and expereince base in physical activity research, ulitising behaviour change and psychological theory within various populations, including children and young people and those with severe mental illness. I have significant expereince in intervention design, working with the NHS, and clinical trials.
