Becky joined the teaching team at Hallam in 2019. She is an active researcher and her main research interests are home advantage at major sport events. Becky teaches Sport Business Management, focusing particularly on the UK and international sport event management landscape and associated impacts and legacies to the host communities and countries.

I have completed my MSc Sport Business Management and BSc Sport Event Management, both at Sheffield Hallam University. After University I worked for Goalball UK which is a National Governing Body for the Paralympic sport of Goalball. I had many roles within the organisation, most notably National Development Manager as well Assistant Coach for the GB Women squad. I have extensive knowledge of the industry for these roles. I teach on our on our Event Management modules and activity work at Major Sport Events to ensure industry knowledge is being brought into the classroom.
