ABOUt

I am an NMC-registered midwife and a senior lecturer in midwifery. I am passionate about person-centred care, addressing health inequalities, and educating future generations of midwives to deliver high-quality care.

I have held roles as both a rotational and specialist midwife, with a primary focus on antenatal and newborn screening. Throughout my career, I have provided comprehensive care to women across the full continuum of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period, including support for both hospital and home births. Prior to transitioning into academia, I served as a Regional Screening and Immunisation Coordinator for Public Health England. I am now a midwifery lecturer, drawing on my clinical and public health experience to support the development of future midwives.
