I joined the Sheffield Institute of Education Research and Knowledge Exchange (SIRKE) in May 2021 as a quantitative researcher. My research interests broadly focus on career education, but I have worked across a range of projects in areas such as post-16 education, secondary English and postgraduate studies.
I am also studying part-time for a PhD at the University of Derby where I previously worked as a researcher in the international centre for guidance studies (ICEGS) for four years.
I am currently project managing the evaluation of the Research Super-Vision Project (RSVP) funded by Research England. This includes supporting the development of the evaluation plan and theory of change, co-ordinating qualitative data collection and participants incentives, leading ethical application and data management processes, and ensuring delivery of key project milestones throughout the 3-year evaluation cycle.
I have also recently led on the quantitative elements of the YCEDE evaluation (funded by Research England) and project managed the English Mastery randomised control trial (funded by Education Endowment Foundation), with significant input into the randomisation of participants using minimisation, the design, dissemination and analysis of project surveys, and writing the final evaluation report.
