ABOUt

Lewis Clark joined the Sheffield Institute of Education Research and Knowledge Exchange (SIRKE) in May 2021. His role involves working on quantitative research and evaluation projects, but he is also experienced in mixed-methods research. His research interests broadly focus on careers guidance and education.

Lewis is currently studying part-time for a PhD at the University of Derby. His thesis is exploring how careers professionals in secondary schools across England prepare young people for the future of work.

Lewis previously worked as a research assistant in the International Centre for Guidance Studies at the University of Derby for 4 years. During this time, he worked on several projects including the national evaluation of the Gatsby Benchmarks and worked with a variety of funders.

Lewis is currently project managing the English Mastery randomised control trial funded by the Education Endowment Fund and the Research Super Vision Project funded by Research England.
