ABOUt
Dr Ziqing Wang is a Senior Lecturer in Economics. Her research focuses on applied macroeconomics and macroeconomic policy, with particular emphasis on climate policy, sustainable economic development, and DSGE modelling. She holds a PhD in Economics from Cardiff University, where she was awarded the prestigious Julian Hodge Bursary in Applied Macroeconomics in recognition of her academic excellence during her doctoral studies.
She has published in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, contributes actively to research-led teaching, and serves as a peer reviewer for leading academic journals. She is actively engaged in doctoral supervision and currently serves as Director of Studies for a PhD student.
As a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA), she integrates research excellence with pedagogical innovation and academic leadership. She is also the Level Lead for the Banking and Finance cluster within the Finance and Economics division.
