RESEARCH, INNOVATION & KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE
In my research, I investigate how to apply and adapt Artificial Intelligence in healthcare and well-being. My research spans the integration of AI solutions for the benefit of two main sectors of the population: Children and Women.
My early work focused on the development of ML techniques for the early diagnosis of rare diseases in Children. More recently, I have actively researched the integration of AI solutions supporting mental health for women from minority groups. My recent research explores the design and integration of NLP techniques to analyse medical records and patients' experiences as a support tool for professionals in healthcare.
