Dr Olatunji Adekoya is a distinguished scholar and Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management (HRM) at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University, UK. As an accomplished educator, researcher, and academic leader, I bring over several years of experience in higher education, research, and consultancy. I serve as the Course Leader for the MSc Human Resources and Organisational Development programme at Sheffield Hallam University.

My academic credentials include a PhD in Management from the University of East London, an MBA from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, a Diploma in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. My diverse qualifications underpin my expertise in HRM, organisational behaviour, and business management, which I teach across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. As a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), I continuously enhance my commitment to teaching excellence and fostering inclusive, experiential learning environments.

I have established myself as a leading research scholar. My robust research portfolio covers broad areas of management studies and human resource management, exploring critical issues such as work-life balance, employee wellbeing, workplace flexibility, workplace technologies, gender and workplace issues, green HRM, and employment relations. My works have been published in prestigious journals, including the British Journal of Management, Gender and Society, the International Journal of HRM and Information Technology & People, Gender, Work & Organisation, Personnel Review, etc. I have also co-edited seminal books exploring critical issues in international and local contexts, particularly drawing attention to issues in the Global South.

My leadership extends to doctoral supervision, where I mentor researchers investigating several related topics. I also serve as an external examiner for universities in the UK and abroad, ensuring rigorous academic standards in higher education. My teaching philosophy centres on fostering critical thinking, experiential learning, and inclusivity, preparing students to navigate and excel in complex global environments.

Beyond academia, I am a management consultant and trainer. I currently lead high-impact projects that deliver actionable insights that drive organisational resilience and sustainability and promote equality, equity, diversity and inclusion.
