I am one of the Associate Heads in the Sheffield Institute of Social Sciences. I have worked at Sheffield Hallam University since 2003 in a variety of academic roles. I have been been Admissions and Recruitment tutor, Year Tutor and Course Leader for a BPS accredited course which I was involved in developing. I was appointed as a Principle Lecturer in 2012 and have taken on the roles of Markets and Recruitment lead, Psychology Line Manager and Head of Psychology. I am a member of the cognitive psychology teaching team and have led and developed undergraduate and postgraduate modules in cognitive psychology as well as specialised modules in language processing and cognitive development. I am an active researcher in the field of psycholinguistics.
