I am currently a lecturer in the Department of Engineering and Maths at Sheffield Hallam University, where I am dedicated to facilitating and supporting higher education learning. With nearly eight years of university teaching experience before joining Sheffield Hallam, I have honed my skills in teaching modules on civil engineering, railway engineering, and project management.
I hold a PhD and MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering, an MBA specializing in Strategic Management, and a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering. I am also a Fellow of the Advance HE.
My passion lies in bridging the gap between theory and practice, ensuring the success of my students by providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities within engineering. My research interests are diverse and include transportation planning, materials analysis, construction management, pavement evaluation, traffic engineering and safety, rail infrastructure life cycle analysis, statistical modelling for road infrastructures and pavements, accident analysis and vehicle safety, traffic psychology, intelligent transportation systems, and construction methods and management.
Through my teaching and research, I strive to inspire and empower the next generation of engineers to achieve their full potential.
