ABOUt
Prior to working at Sheffield Hallam I taught and led departments at middle and senior level in Art, Expressive Arts and Maths, with pastoral responsibilities at Post-16 and whole school Staff Training. In recent years I have been responsible for leading the PGCE in Lifelong Learning at a local college in conjunction with another university, whilst undertaking PhD research and working as an examiner for GCSE Art and Design.
The experience of successfully leading departments in the arts and maths, and training FE and HE teachers within the lifelong learning sector, has offered different perspectives of teaching, learning and assessment, which now enriches my research and practice.
